ETA2: I found the whole thing! It's from some Chinese TV show. This shows Behind the Scenes for the Making of and then the 'movie' itself (before going back to the studio for more chat). Movie by itself starts at 5:40, but here is the entire thing:
And then someone made this - it's the music video but in black & white, and with 'When You Believe'
added at the end for a happy ending.Which does appear to be how it's meant to end, at some point I might find the whole thing. But there are limits to how many youtube searches I can do in a day...

Is it possible to want England - the football team of nice lads lead by a nice lads - to win tomorrow without it being tacit support for England - the nasty narrow-minded colonialist island with a transphobia problem and delusions of grandeur? Asking for a friend.

I actually can't name any of the players in this tournament; got a bit confused when people started talking about Scotland playing England ~ remember thnking 'but Scotland didn't qualify', until I remembered the Men's tournament.
I shall be supporting Northern Ireland in next year's Euros; even if Lauren Wade & Julie Nelson (both ex-City players) don't make the squad. Might even get myself an NI jersey if they produce a special one for the tournament.

I'm generally not one to follow football, except when I was growing up and OF COURSE the Faroes needed support. I might even have watched a few games back then. Now it's not really about 'winning' so much as the fact that the team/players are just such thoroughly good & decent people that they deserve it. And they've taken a lot of flak from 'certain areas' (racist gammon types) for taking a knee and promoting inclusiveness etc and I love that they have stood up for their values despite everything. Also they're donating money to the NHS. I'll see if I can find Gareth Southgates' letter that he wrote recently, it was a wonderful read and more informed and intelligent than any Tory currently in government (and a good chunk of Labour too).

Good choice!

Posted an Italian flag gif to my fb last night so people wouldn't get confused (Scotland's probably the perfect place for me when I think of it ;-) ).

Fair nuff. I'm not really disagreeing. And as someone said, if England wins the Tories will probably be in power for another 10 years...
Having spent most of my life hearing about 'football coming home' it's gotten to be a personal hope that it, and I now, never go 'home' again. Posted an Italian flag gif to my fb last night so people wouldn't get confused (Scotland's probably the perfect place for me when I think of it ;-) ).
It really is! :D

The media doesn't like to indlude them in the discussions; especially if they are Trans, but very few feminists don't support Trans rights. Not that there are any 'discussions' anyway.
And hey; keep my fingers crossed that your news keeps on improving. No updates at all on mine.

Very true. Which is why this article was such a nice surprise. And yeah, 'discussions' are a moot point, it's just transphobes yelling louder than everyone else.

Thank you. We are all better (not 100%, but much improved) - hope you get good news as soon as possible!

Huh. It's not really my favourite, the tune isn't really doing it for me... But yay you liked it! \o/ (It's not his song, I can't remember who first recorded it, but I definitely recognise it.)

Tom Gauld is just wonderful, isn't he? So spot on so often.

Yeah, same here. It'd be nice if we could make some kind of clause that if England won, all the fans had to become as inclusive and openminded as the team.

He really is. I ought to follow him properly and not just be delighted when he pops up randomly.
