My tabby found it hard to navigate.:(
You just have to make them as comfortable as possible under the circumstances.

Yeah, the cone just kept bumping into stuff. Ours had no sense of how big he was with it on.

Many treats!

Mine bumped into a table.
Yep. Although technically I already spoiled him. I couldn't resist.:)
He had a loud purr.

And yeah, treats are good, always. <3

Well I hope he didn't have to wear it for long.:(
I'd just shake the packet, and my cat's would run like there's no tomorrow towards me.:)

Nothing will come close to when we fixed the kitchen tap though. It had developed a leak, and it became the place where he'd go to get a drink. (Much like a hamster I suppose.) This was obviously not good or hygienic, so eventually we fixed the tap. He as angry for about a week. Sitting around in places he would otherwise never sit, GLARING at us angrily. If he'd been a human teenager he'd have slammed doors and yelled about how we'd ruined his life. It was hilarious.
And ours can hear treats too. It's like magic. ;)

I was afraid he might drink from a puddle of rain water or something. I already provided him with fresh water from a standard cat bowl. He tried to drink from my dad's mug at one point. Since it was that big. Sometimes he was a little bit too curious.*sighs*
He wouldn't eat his treats when upset over going to the vet. I'd just pet him and he'd be confused to continue being upset or not. Animals can have such character.:)

♥ One of the cats we had when I was little was named 'Curious'.
And ours drinks from anywhere. Including the pond in our garden which is gross... But he's survived so far.
Animals can have such character.:)
They really do!
no subject
Yeah. They also eat grass as a natural laxative.*frowns*
It's all about preventative measures. Scolding can only do so much.*shrugs*
It doesn't take alot for them to be entertained.:)

Looks funny though.

Scolding does... precisely zero when it comes to our idiot. ♥
It doesn't take alot for them to be entertained.:)
Or for them to entertain us!

You mean when they try to put the grass in their mouth? Sure. The end process, not so much.
I would usually stop mid-sentence and say: How can I stay mad at you? Then give them a hug.
Yeah. Like when they watch birds and make that funny noise.:)

Ours is, in many respects, an outdoor cat...
I would usually stop mid-sentence and say: How can I stay mad at you? Then give them a hug.
Yup. That's the one.
Yeah. Like when they watch birds and make that funny noise.:)
Such idiots. <3

I let them off the hook because sometimes when they do something wrong. They will look guilty.
It is such a strange behavioural trait of cats. We know better and so do birds.:)
no subject
And here's a picture of our idiot. In the dirt.
no subject
I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope you get them back safely real soon.*hugs*
no subject
And then we got our current idiot, who is much more sociable. <3
no subject
I'm glad to hear you have another loveable cat.:)
no subject
And ours would probably have passed on through old age, were he still with us... So we are happily settled with this one, whom we've had from a kitten. <3

I felt bad for leaving my old neighborhood because of a local cat. He was so friendly but I know he has an owner. Me and my emotional attachments.*sighs*
Kittens are so cute but when they grow up, there's more to love.:)
no subject
And yes! Little cat = little idiot, big cat = big idiot! <3

Cats are so huggable.:)

:( :( :(
Cats are so huggable.:)
They ARE! Ours get hugged daily. Repeatedly.

One of them, (a tabby cat) had given birth in my backyard and all the neighbourhood cats came like some kind of radar.
You are so lucky.:)
The cat's in my neighbourhood keep to themselves. Even before social distancing was implemented.
