I was afraid he might drink from a puddle of rain water or something. I already provided him with fresh water from a standard cat bowl. He tried to drink from my dad's mug at one point. Since it was that big. Sometimes he was a little bit too curious.*sighs*

He wouldn't eat his treats when upset over going to the vet. I'd just pet him and he'd be confused to continue being upset or not. Animals can have such character.:)

Yeah. They also eat grass as a natural laxative.*frowns*

It's all about preventative measures. Scolding can only do so much.*shrugs*

It doesn't take alot for them to be entertained.:)

You mean when they try to put the grass in their mouth? Sure. The end process, not so much.

I would usually stop mid-sentence and say: How can I stay mad at you? Then give them a hug.

Yeah. Like when they watch birds and make that funny noise.:)

My cats stayed in the backyard all day, unless it was raining or bad weather. Then I brought them in at night. My second cat went lost one time for two weeks but then never went wandering off after that. I was just glad she came back safe. Some cats never do and if so, it's usually years later.

I let them off the hook because sometimes when they do something wrong. They will look guilty.

It is such a strange behavioural trait of cats. We know better and so do birds.:)

Oh, that's a shame. My friend bought a cat for her children. Then someone took the cat. They were so upset.:(

I felt bad for leaving my old neighborhood because of a local cat. He was so friendly but I know he has an owner. Me and my emotional attachments.*sighs*

Kittens are so cute but when they grow up, there's more to love.:)

Yeah. It also happened in the neighbourhood before that. But it was three cats from my next door neighbour. I just hate goodbyes. It's not like I could explain to them why the house is empty and I'm going now. That was many years ago.:(

One of them, (a tabby cat) had given birth in my backyard and all the neighbourhood cats came like some kind of radar.

The cat's in my neighbourhood keep to themselves. Even before social distancing was implemented.

The owners cats were usually in my backyard daily because the stepson had dogs.

Oh no. Cat fights aren't good. That's how my first cat got a leg injury. He didn't fully recover but stayed relatively playful. I had to maintain it with medication. My second cat was more streetwise. Even if she did get lost that one time.

Yeah. Cat fights are always noisy. That's why my mum wasn't exactly an admirer of cat's where she grew up in Indonesia. There was always some random stray cats going at it.

She grew to love my cats though.:)
