Less than six hours!!!
I think this says it all...

I was going to try to write something, but I don't have the time. For anyone wanting a place to squee pre- or post (or even during) the episode, can I recommend
doctoreleven - it is the loveliest comm ever, and exceedingly welcoming. (This means no bashing btw. They love ALL of DW, and want fandom to be a place of *fun*, not division. ♥)

as i pm'd you yesterday afternoon, I sawt three 3D trailers on a big screen in Edinburgh. Saw a kid pointing a makeshift sonic screwdriver to drive off a Cyberman; a Scarecrow(or should that be a 'the')come up behind a woman (who I think was with her grand-daughter) and scare the bejasus out of her,and heard the delight in the voice of the MC when a seven year old knew who William Hartnell.
Hope you enjoy. I'll still be in the cinema.

(And it's just 'a' scarecrow - although they were pretty creepy.)

it was rather fun :-) BTW, I realise that I forgot about another Who-related prog, this time on Radio 7. It's Barry Letts talking about working with Patrick Trougton & Jon Pertwee - or Two and Three, I suppose you'd say :-). It was broadcast last Sunday at 6pm, with a repeat, and should be available until just after midnight tonight. It's part one, so part two should be on at six this evening. I don't know if there will be any further parts.
He was a huge influence on the Dr.Who verse in the late 60s and throughout the 70s, so you should definitely try and catch it if you can.
BTW, it struck me, while watching the trailers yesterday, that the new guy reminds me of an old, British, actor from the 30s, or 40s. I'm wracking my brains, but I can't for the life of me recall who it is the clip brought to mind.
Happy Easter,

Can't help you I'm afraid, but he does have that kind of old fashioned face.
And a Happy Easter to you too!
