It's strange. No one said things would be so quiet [during a pandemic/dystopia]. Today has been another beautiful and sunny day, and I went for a morning walk next to the river and listened to Classical music as I worked from home and hung out lots of washing and had lunch in the garden, in the sun, with a book. And the 18 year old practised juggling skills and is now making fudge, the 21 y.o. did some gardening and the 14 y.o. probably watched some anime, but mostly it's just quiet.

(ETA: This partly brought to you by Yet another novel I will no longer write: I was planning a pandemic zombie disaster novel in which people behaved like human beings, rather than psychotic, heavily armed doomsday preppers.)

Some nice things:

The Gruffalo author Julia Donaldson shows her characters social distancing

Tumblr composed a Corona virus children's nursery rhyme

Quarantine, day 14. Me and my boyfriend spent the whole day setting up an art gallery for our gerbil. (There is a photo!)

The Backstreet Boys performing I Want It That Way together from each of their homes

101 year old man, burn during the Spanish Flu, has beaten covid-19 in Italy
